SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny

Aficionados of the fighting genre will have much to look forward to on PSP this year, as Namco Bandai has announced that its revered Soulcalibur franchise is receiving the portable treatment.

Due out this summer, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will mark the series’ first foray on a handhand format. The title is said to feature a expansive roster of 20-plus characters. Star Wars fan-favorites Yoda and Darth Vader will not be making an appearance this time around, but to make up for it, this PSP-exclusive entry will feature the introduction of a new challenger: Dampierre.

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny not enough for those combo-quenching thumbs? Good, as Namco Bandai is offering up more in the way of fighting goodness for this year’s PSP lineup: Tekken 6. That’s right, The King of Iron Fist Tournament is going for a second run on PSP.

Set for release this fall, Namco intends to squeeze the entire Tekken 6 experience onto a UMD. Obviously compromises are a given - particularly in the graphical department, but most everything else will be there: including a wealth of customization options as well as the ability to share and high scores online, then play against ghosts in an attempt to topple records set by friends and other players.

Details beyond that weren’t given, but it’s likely we will see this portable iteration of Tekken on show at E3. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection was rather well-received on PSP, so this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

Semakin lama semakin menarik plak line-up untuk PSP. Nasib baik PSP 1k aku masih dalam keadaan baik.

THQ Boss Downplays Talk Of PS3 Price Cut At E3

Haa...steellusion kan nak beli PS3. Maybe ni la masa dia kot? :P

Speaking in the company’s fiscal Q4 earnings call, THQ boss Brian Farrell admitted that PS3 is a “challenging” format, further noting that THQ as a whole does not expect Sony to make a PS3 price cut announcement E3. If said predictions pan out, expect to be waiting a bit longer to score one at sub $399, as he expects the elusive price cut card to be pulled later this year.

"We’re not expecting a [PlayStation 3] price cut at E3, but we do expect one later in the year. That’s just our guess… [and is] not based on any knowledge from Sony."

Elsewhere in the call, talk shifted over to the heavily rumored prospect of a UMD-less PSP. While Farrel obviously could not confirm its existence, he did voice the opinion that the public is ready for a digital-only portable.

ROTTING CHRIST find themselves in the unpleasant situation to announce the postpone of their forthcoming appearance in Malaysia

Due to what promoter appealed the band could not manage to get all the proper papers from the local authorities for the legal carrying on of the show! ....

All we can do as a band is to send our promise to our fans there that so much has supported our band from their first steps that we are going to work hard in order to make our appearance in their country a reality and specifically in December.

What Is Lakum?

Aku banyak kali jumpa soalan-soalan ni.

"Mana dapat nama Lakum ni?"
"Menatang apa Lakum ni?"
"Best sangat ka benda Lakum ni?"
"Lakum ni nama game ka?"
"Bleh makan ka Lakum ni?"

Okeh...ni aku crita sikit pasal Lakum.

Ni nama dia pokok Lakum.

POKOK LAKUM yang kadang-kadang dikenali sebagai ubi kertas adalah sejenis tumbuhan yang kaya khasiatnya dalam perubatan herba. Biasanya permukaan bahagian bawah daunnya yang muda berwarna putih melepak dan bila sudah tua ia bertukar menjadi coklat.
Tumbuhan yang mempunyai daun yang bergerigi di bahagian tepi ini adalah sejenis tumbuhan yang memanjat dan menjalar.

Menurut Renjer di Bahagian Tumbuhan Ubatan Herba Institut Penyelidikan Perhutanan Malaysia (FRIM), Baharuddin Alias, pokok yang dalam botaninya dikenali sebagai Vitis diffusa ini mempunyai khasiat yang baik.

Berdasarkan pengakuan beberapa pengamal perubatan herba, tumpuan khasiat pokok ini tertumpu pada daun dan ubinya.

“Lakum sesuai untuk perempuan selepas bersalin dan kanak-kanak yang mengalami bisul atau kudis yang tidak mempunyai mata,” katanya.

Okeh...tu pokok Lakum. Dari pokok ni la satu Felda mendapat nama. Iaitu Felda Lakum.

Dalam Felda ni ada satu sekolah rendah. Iaitu Sekolah Kebangsaan LKTP Lakum (singkatan SK Lakum ja).

LKTP = Lembaga Kemajuan Tanah Persekutuan atau dalam bahasa Inggeris, Federal Land Development Authority atau lebih famous dengan nama FELDA.

Dalam sekolah tu la aku bekerja. Dari nama tempat ni la aku dapat nama untuk nick, username, gamertag dan sebagainya. Kalo info kat atas, Lakum tu nama pokok dan nama Felda, Lakum aku ni apa benda plak?

Ha, ni Lakum yang korang kenal.
